Our goal is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where campers can develop their tennis skills, build confidence and forge lasting friendships. With a focus on individual improvement and team spirit, we strive to create a positive and memorable Tennis Camp experience for everyone involved. Campers are welcome to bring their rackets, or one can be provided for them.

Campers travel to Clear Creek Country Club to work with Strike Golf Academy. Campers learn the fundamentals of full swing, chipping, pitching, putting, rules and etiquette. Whether they are brand new to the world of golf or ready to take their skills to the next level, campers have a great time! Campers are welcome to bring their clubs, or they can be provided.

Teen Ninja Warrior is designed for adventurous teens who want to test their strength, agility and determination! Inspired by the popular “Ninja Warrior” competitions, this camp offers a fun and challenging experience, where participants push their physical and mental limits. Could you be the next American Ninja Warrior?

Performing & Visual Arts Camps

INSTRUCTOR: EVA DE LA CRUZ
Teen PAC offers campers the opportunity to spend three weeks together rehearsing and performing a musical production on the Kaplan Theatre stage. Campers also delve into the core elements of acting through scene and character study and behind-the-scenes tech work. (Stay tuned for the play title announcement!)
Supply note – all campers need black jazz shoes for this camp.

CAMP INSTRUCTOR: RICORNEL PRODUCTIONS
Lights, camera, action! In this fast-paced camp, teens discover how to translate their ideas from the page to the screen by learning storytelling techniques, screenwriting, directing, camera operation, sound recording and editing. Campers also learn the basics of filmmaking and team up to create their very own short films.
Week 8 | July 28 – August 1

This week-long camp allows teens to create a short play! Campers discover what goes into writing, directing and producing a play. Teens then team up to produce their 10-minute play, even adding props and costumes to the final product. The week culminates in a short play festival for families and friends.

This week-long camp allows teens to explore new dance techniques, encouraging them to work both individually and as a group toward the goal of becoming more well-rounded dancers. With sessions in ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop and more, teens are challenged in a positive and supportive way. Campers end the week with a showcase for families and friends.

Join us for Teen Makerspace, a week-long art camp where your creativity can run wild! Dive into jewelry-making, creating cool, unique pieces with new and recycled materials. Plus, explore mixed media art by mixing paint, fabric and found objects. The unique textures of recycled materials give your artwork an exciting edge. Whether you are a budding artist or want to try something fun, this camp is all about expressing yourself and having a blast! This is a half-day camp running from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

Are you looking for a California adventure? Join us for a weeklong West Coast vacation! In collaboration with the Aaron Family JCC in Dallas, teens explore all the highlights of Southern California. From Anaheim to Irvine, don’t miss this special Teen Travel Camp!

- How long is the trip?
Campers leave Monday morning, June 16, and return home on Friday afternoon, June 20. - What are the sleeping arrangements?
Participants stay in a hotel with at least one other camper. - Are the campers flying to California? Do I have to pay separately for an airline ticket?
Teens fly from one of Houston’s airports to Long Beach. The cost of the ticket, along with hotel accommodation, ground transportation and meals, are included in the price of this camp. - Who is staffing this trip?
Staff consist of counselors and leadership from the Evelyn Rubenstein and Aaron Family JCC.

INSTRUCTOR: CYPRESS TRAILS RANCH
Campers will travel to a ranch for horseback riding camp! In this outdoor camp, campers will learn valuable skills in horsemanship, animal husbandry, arts and crafts and more! Every day, camp riders will get the opportunity to ride the trails and enjoy getting to know the horses. Campers will need a fitted bicycle helmet or riding helmet and must arrive daily by 8:20AM to attend this camp.

Aerial is a fast-growing art form that combines strength and grace. Teens will travel daily to The Artz to learn techniques in aerial and circus training, including fabrics, Lyra, and trapeze. Brave new heights and build self-confidence with this new camp. There will be an online performance on Friday, where campers can share their skills with friends and family.

In the fourth-largest city in America, there is always something to do! This summer at the J, we are exploring the best Houston has to offer. Enjoy daily field trips to water parks, arcades, art studios and more! There is something new every day. Specific trip locations will be sent out the Tuesday before each camp week.

In Culinary Camp, teens work on their kitchen skills, creativity and team building while receiving hands-on instruction in making (and tasting!) delicious recipes. Lunch is included and prepared by each camper. In weeks 2 and 6, campers take a bus trip for a unique culinary experience.
All recipes are kosher, and allergies can be accommodated. Campers are required to wear closed-toe shoes and have long hair pulled back.

This camp gives teens a chance to earn community service hours while making a difference in their community. Travel to a new non-profit organization every day and participate in projects with local organizations. Specific volunteer locations will be sent out the Tuesday before each camp week.
