Meals on Wheels

Upcoming December Delivery!

Sunday, December 15, 2024

Make a difference in your community by bringing essential groceries to homebound seniors through our Meals on Wheels program! Your help ensures that seniors have extra pantry items to keep their cupboards full. Our clients rely on these deliveries to stay nourished and independent. By volunteering, you’ll provide not only groceries but also a friendly face and a moment of connection.

If you have any questions please contact Angelica Vasquez, MOW Program Coordinator at mow@erjcchouston.org or 832-408-3532.

Meals

Kosher meals are prepared in-house under supervision by the Houston Kashruth Association. Frozen kosher weekend meals may additionally be provided as funding allows. Each meal provides at least one third of the recommended daily dietary allowance.

Home-delivered meals are offered through the Harris County Area Agency on Aging with funding from the Older Americans Act, the Texas Department of Agriculture Texans Feeding Texans Home-Delivered Meal Grant Program, and the United Way of Greater Houston.
