MLK Service Day & Play

Children of all ages can help us repair the world this MLK holiday with easy, fun, and meaningful service projects.

Generously donated by our local JOANN Fabric store, we will be coming together as a community and creating no sew blankets that will be donated our our local seniors in our Meals on Wheels program.

We will also be decorating and creating lunch packs for Kids’ Meals.  Kids’ Meals mission is to end childhood hunger in Houston by delivering free healthy meals, year-round to the doorsteps of Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children.

Stay and play at Linkwood Park.  This park features a toddler play area, a big kid play area, a large shaded pavilion, a walking loop, basketball courts, picnic tables, benches, and more!

We are asking for a donation of $5/family to cover the cost of the supplies for the Kids Meals Bags.
