Book Festival: Fred Guttenberg
Join us as we hear from Fred Guttenberg, one of the authors of American Carnage: Shattering the Myths that Fuel Gun Violence, in collaboration with the Center for the Study of Women, Gender and Sexuality at Rice University as part of their Gray/Wawro lecture series.
Fred Guttenberg is an activist, author and dad. He was raising his daughter Jaime to be a strong and independent person who was destined to do great things. Sadly, because of gun violence, he now visits Jaime at the cemetery. In this public lecture, he equips us to work together to stop gun violence in America. This lecture will bring forward the significance of the Bruen decision (2022) and upcoming Rahimi case concerning gun rights for America’s epidemic of intimate and family violence.
