Box Out Breast Cancer: Breast Health Myths and Facts with Radiologist Angelica Robinson followed by Boxing Class with Instructor Dena

Dr. Robinson is a board-certified radiologist and Director of the University of Texas Medical Branch Breast Imaging Section. Dr. Robinson specializes in the early detection of breast cancer, and she will address some commonly asked questions regarding breast health. Discussion topics will include breast cancer risks in the general population and risk reduction strategies that may be used to decrease the lifetime risk of breast cancer. Dr. Robinson will also dispel some of the most frequently asked breast cancer myths.

After Dr. Robinson speaks we will join 2-time breast cancer survivor Dena Magellsen for an invigorating boxing class. Have fun while moving your body with some basic boxing skills. All skill levels welcome. Please bring your boxing gloves if you have them. Let’s beat breast cancer and stay strong!
