Challah Club: Pumpkin Themed Shapes
Welcome to the challah club with the “Challah Fairy” Hilary Kamin! Embrace the fall spirit with a pumpkin-themed twist as you learn the art of making delicious pumpkin-inspired challah.
Skill level: Open to all skill levels. You will work with other students in groups of 2-4.
Class includes: Light bites, a glass of wine and one challah to take and bake.
Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back. You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class.
Instructor: Hilary Kamin
Hilary Kamin is the Community Engagement Director at the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston where she oversees Young Adult and Young Family Engagement. After graduating with a degree in Education from the University of Texas, Hilary, a native Houstonian, moved home to give back to the community that has given her so much. Hilary is a life member of Hadassah, an active member and past chair of the JCC Book and Arts Festival, faculty member at Greene Family Camp and loves to play mah jong. Hilary enjoys spending her free time cheering on the Longhorns with her husband, Brent, and two sons, Brandon and Dylan and baking fresh challah each week in creative ways. Paying adult must accompany ages 16 & under.
Advance registration is required for all classes 24 hours before the class begins. Full refunds will only be given if a registration is cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the class. We request that all participants arrive on time for classes. For some classes, late arrivals may not be able to participate in the class.
