Opera to Go, Monkey and Francine in the City of Tigers

Opera to Go! is HGO’s fully staged, high-energy, 45-minute opera, sung entirely in English and designed with students and families in mind. This hilarious fable demonstrates the power of teamwork as a pair of monkey siblings save their kingdom from the wicked tigers. Drawing on many different musical influences, including ’60s Bollywood, traditional Hindustani raga, son montuno, and psychedelic Afro-fusion, this opera grooves!
