In his talk at the J’s Yom Ha’atzmaut event for adults, Yossi will take the audience on a fascinating journey through his personal story—from his immigration from Ethiopia to Israel through the cultural and social experience and to his rise as a recognized actor and creator.

Yossi will share his powerful story through humor, culture and identity, combining scenes from his comedy series with personal stories about belonging and finding his place within Israel’s diverse society. The evening will be accompanied by live artwork from artist Yarden Vassa, who will illustrate Yossi’s story and bring it to life.
